CARR BOTTOM ROAD BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 840) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas works proposed to be executed on or near Carr Bottom Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Carr Bottom Road from its junction with Manchester Road (Northbound).

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Carr Bottom Road (unaffected section), Hutton Road and Smiddles Lane.

The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th August 2018 and remain in force until 7th September 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
