Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Market Street, Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Market Street, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Market Street from its junction with Bridge Street to the outside of No. 71 Market Street. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available as follows: -
Bridge Street bound traffic via - Market Street (unaffected section), Bank Street, Broadway, Bridge Street and vice versa.
Lower Kirkgate bound traffic via - Bridge Street, Hall Ings, Leeds Road, Shipley Airedale Road, Barkerend Road, Church Bank, Lower Kirkgate, Market Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 28th March 2022 and remains in force until 18:00 hours on the 30th March 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
