(PROHIBITION OF USE OF GAP IN THE CENTRAL RESERVATION) ORDER 2021
Highways England Company Limited hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1), and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A19 Trunk Road at Mount Grace, Northallerton, in the District of Hambleton.
The effect of the Order which comes into force on Friday 9th April 2021 will be to permanently close the gap in the central reservation of the A19 adjacent to Mount Grace Priory Junction. A copy of the Order, a location plan and a statement explaining why Highways England Company Limited has made the Order, may be obtained by emailing

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers contained in the above Act, or any requirements of the above Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with, may apply to the High Court before 22 May 2021 to suspend or quash the Order or any part of it.
