Celtic ran out 3-2 winners against Athletic Club last night, in which the club celebrated James Forrest's testimonial in style.
After falling behind twice in the first half, goals from Alexandro Bernabei and David Turnbull ensured victory against the La Liga stalwarts, who are managed by former Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde.
It was Brendan Rodgers' first match since returning as manager, and the Irishman was pleased with how his much-change side fared in the second half of the match.
He told Celtic TV: "It wasn't a great start. I thought in the first half we were not very good, if I am honest. I don't think we started well, as we were very passive and gave the ball away.
"I thought the second half was excellent as our positioning was really good and we kept the ball well. We showed good energy in the second half and I thought our attitude was really good. We scored two excellent goals in the second half, and overall I am pleased. It was a really good game to finish with against a good side."

It was a night of debuts, as Maik Nawrocki, Kwon Hyeok-kyu, Odin Thiago Holm and Yang Hyun-jun all made their first appearances at Celtic Park.
For Nawrocki, this was his first appearance for the club since his move from Legia Warsaw was finalised last week. He was slotted in the starting line-up alongside injury returnee Cameron Carter-Vickers, who completed his first 45 minutes since undergoing knee surgery at the end of last season.
Rodgers was impressed with the majority of those making their Parkhead bow. He said: "Yeah, I think some coped better than others.
"That is the nature of it when you come to a huge club and we all know how heavy the jersey is and the demands of being a Celtic player.
"I thought Maik [Nawrocki], for the first time, was excellent. Odin [Thiago Holm] was very good in the second half, along with Matt O'Riley in midfield. Those two were very good. I thought Yang [Hyun-jun] was excellent on the outside."
