Everything that Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou said to Sky Sports after Celtic's 4-1 Scottish Premiership win over Hearts puts them on the brink of the title...

How do you sum that up?

I am just really proud of the players. We went a goal down which hasn't happened too often to be fair on this run and I just wondered how are we going to react? I just thought we were outstanding again and played some fantastic football and scored four and we should have had another four as Craig Gordon was outstanding as well. I am really proud of the players as they have tackled every challenge this year, every task and they have done it playing our football.

When you do fall behind is that always a test of character and is it a case of going up another level?

It is a test because you kind of understand the ramifications, especially at this time of the year but I never get a sense with this group that they are ever going to veer off course or lose any belief in what we are trying to build. They have done it consistently with every challenge thrown at them and it was a different one today and the way they responded was magnificent.

There was a spread of goals again is that pleasing?

Yes. I think the story of our season and our success should it come to us the next couple of games is that it has been a collective effort and we have had some outstanding individual performances but we have not had this run on the back of one player or two players. Everyone has been contributing the whole time and again today guys stepped up when we needed them to and credit to them.

In terms of the win, it effectively hands you the title what does it say about the achievement and how much you are able to enjoy it going round the pitch?

I enjoyed it because you just want our fans to feel good and I want them to enjoy it more than anything else. The job is not done yet but we are in a great position I said to the players before the game there are many ways to hit the finish line but it is always nicer to burst through it and that is what we plan to do the next couple of games.

What do you plan to do tomorrow? Will you have an ear or an eye out for the result elsewhere or just let it happen?

I have said before Sunday is my kids' day as that is my day off. Apparently, there is a new movie out called 'Bad Guys' which is on the agenda and I'll keep an eye on that.

In terms of Jota who was awarded the man of the match today, how pleased are you with the way he is playing just now and will Celtic fans see him again here next season?

Jota has done awfully well and he is another one who had a great start to the season and got an injury like so many of our guys and disrupted their season. He has finished strong and in terms of the future, I have said all along if there is a willingness from both parties to make that happen it will happen. Right now what I am really pleased about is that he is just focused on being the best player he can be for our football club. That is all you can ask from any player. Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers are not letting any distractions take away their focus from what is really important.
