CELTIC travel to Paisley tonight to face a St Mirren side ravaged by an outbreak of COVID in their ranks.

Jim Goodwin's side had requested that their next two Premiership games against Celtic and Rangers be postponed but that was rejected.

However, the match is going ahead.

Ange Postecoglou's men are fresh from winning the Premier Sports League Cup at Hampden Park on Sunday against Hibernian.

Elsewhere the winter shutdown begins to cause consternation after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon ruled that football matches should be attended by no more than 500 fans.
