INTERNATIONAL football can provide a welcome break for some - but for others it's simply a waiting game until club football returns and Celtic take to the pitch once more.
There were plenty of Celts in action during the international break but most Celtic fans will have had their attention drawn to Qatar on Tuesday as Kyogo Furuhashi limped off with a knee problem as Japan defeated China 1-0 in Doha.
Elsewhere, Hoops captain Callum McGregor was a standout for Scotland in their 1-0 win against Austria in Vienna while Tony Haggerty and Sean Martin also ponder whether any of Celtic's deadline day signings could go straight into the starting line-up for Saturday's Premiership visit of Ross County.
