THE referee for Celtic's final Champions League match this season has been revealed.
Stephanie Frappart will take charge of the Hoops' trip to Real Madrid.
The 38-year-old will become the first woman to referee a match involving a Celtic men's team in the competition.
Award-winning Frappart is certainly no stranger to breaking down barriers in the men's game for women.
Three-years-ago she became the first woman to officiate a Ligue 1 match. She refereed a game between Amiens and Strasbourg.
Also in 2019, she was the referee for the UEFA Super Cup final clash between Liverpool and Chelsea.
She was also chosen to officiate the Women's World Cup Final that year.
She took charge of his first Champions League game in December 2020 in a match-up between uventus and Dynamo Kyiv. This also signified the first female to take charge of a game in UEFA's elite competition.
Frappart will make further history next month be becoming the first women to referee at the men's World Cup in Qatar.
