THE backing Celtic's board have provided Ange Postecoglou in the transfer market has been highlighted in the club's latest financial report.
The Hoops' annual report to June this year was released last night.
It revealed that the club have increased their transfer budget by nearly 300 per cent, since it's last report.
The total investment in player registrations for the financial year detailed was £38.4million.
Compared to the year previous up to June 2021, that spend was £13.5million.
Calculations show that the spending increase in the transfer market since Postecoglou arrived has shot up by 284 per cent.
Players such as Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers have come under those hefty outlays.
The sum was balanced out by the club gaining it's biggest-ever total in player sales at £29million.
The likes of Odsonne Edouard, Kristoffer Ajer and Ryan Christie were all sold in Postecoglou's first few months in charge.
