CELTIC skipper Callum McGregor says it's great the club have made some "big signings" already this summer.
The captain returned to Hoops pre-season training today following the end of his summer break.
Ange Postecoglou, his staff and the players not involved in international football in June were back at Lennoxtown last week to get to work ahead of the new campaign.
However, the likes of McGregor and Greg Taylor were reunited with the squad today after an extra week of holiday.
The Hoops squad will jet out to Austria today for their pre-season training camp.
And McGregor insists it's an important time to allow for all the players to bond.

He told Celtic TV: "It's great to be back. It's an exciting feeling to be back for the new season.
"We've got some big signings in early doors as well which is great. It's good for the group. There's some new faces.
"We're looking forward to the pre-season trip to Austria. It gives us a chance to go to a remote location and get some really good work done.
"It lets the lads live with each other for 10 or 11 days and it helps us bond and be together.
"Pre-season is a vital time of the season."
