ANGE POSTECOGLOU is hopeful Giorgos GIakoumakis won't be sidelined for a significant period after a suspected hamstring problem against St Johnstone.
The striker was forced off injured in the first-half of the 7-0 rout over St Johnstone at Celtic Park.
It comes just a week out from a Hampden showdown against Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Quizzed after the match on Giakoumakis' condition, Postecoglou revealed there's no definite on the injury but shared optimism it wasn't too serious.
Speaking on BBC Sportsound, the Celtic boss said: "Look, I'm not really sure at the moment.
"He didn't think it was too bad, but he did feel something so obviously there's always a concern when players do that.
"He's had an enormous load the last few weeks carrying that front line, so it's unfortunate for him.
"We'll just wait and see, but I'm hoping that he'll still be available for us in the run-in."
Giakoumakis netted Celtic's second before having to leave the pitch through injury.
However, Kyogo Furuhashi did return for Celtic after his long-term lay-off.
The Japanese forward was back in the squad and made an appearance from the bench in the closing stages having been out since Boxing Day with a hamstring problem.
