ANGE POSTECOGLOU has conceded that Celtic's star player Kyogo is "nowhere near" a return to action.
The Japanese striker has been out through injury since Boxing Day.
Kyogo is the Hoops' top scorer with 16 goals. He has missed the last 11 games after limping off against St Johnstone before the winter break, though.
He signed for £4.6million in the summer from Vissel Kobe.
He first injured his hamstring against Real Betis on December 9, but recovered to be the match winner in the Premier Sports Cup final against Hibs.
But Postecoglou has cooled any expectations from Celtic fans about seeing the pacey attacker back on the field any time soon.
He said: "Turnbull is almost back training, but Kyogo is nowhere near it.”
Postecoglou previously insisted his talisman will play again this term, as they aim to win another treble.
But with the season soon to be approaching the closing stages, the games are running out.
