CELTIC are reportedly close to completing deals for three Japanese transfer targets.
And it's been said the Hoops are aiming to get the deals over the line prior to the Old Firm clash against Rangers on Monday, January 2.
The players have been identified for a few months now - with Reo Hatate, Diazen Maeda and Yosuke Ideguchi all plying their trade in the J-League.
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has spoken openly about needing to do business in the winter window.
According to Football Scotland, he looks set to do just that with deals for the trio likely to be announced very early in the window.
However, it is noted that it's unlikely they would play any part of the derby game.
The report also states that the deals will be the only bits of business the club do in terms of incomings.
