Joe Hart 6
Almost caught out after dawdling in possession with the ball at his feet but Michael O’Halloran was too slow to nick the ball away. Looked solid thereafter.
Josip Juranovic 6
Was comfortable in possession for the most part but had a few loose passes, particularly as the game progressed.
Stephen Welsh 7
Hardly put a foot wrong. An assured and composed performance from the young defender.
Cameron Carter-Vickers 6
Interesting physical tussle with Chris Kane during the semi-final but the Spurs loanee came out on top. Good work in possession.
Anthony Ralston 6
Quiet afternoon for the Scotland internationalist. Found things quiet in his area of the park but covered plenty of ground over the 90 minutes.
Nir Bitton 7
Picked up a booking in the first half for a rash slide tackle on Kane but grew into the game after that. Good defensive positioning and worked his socks off.
Callum McGregor 7
Was his usual metronomic self. Showed a sign of what was to come when he split the Saints defence with an early through ball. Seemed to be everywhere for his team.
David Turnbull 5
Fairly quiet afternoon’s work from the midfielder. Spurned a glorious opportunity after a few minutes as he blazed over from inside the box. Struggled to make his presence felt.
Jota 8
A livewire down the left. Gave Saints a torrid time, especially in the first half, and provided the assist with a superb driving run. Terrific footwork throughout the game.
Liel Abada 5
Struggled to get into the game. Blazed over in the first half and didn’t contribute all that much else.
Kyogo Furuhashi 6
Worked his socks off as he pressured the Saints defence but clear-cut chances were hard to come by.
Substitutes
James Forrest (for Abada, 69) 7

Brought on to shore up midfield.
Albian Ajeti (for Furuhashi, 92) N/A
On for last few minutes.
Ismaila Soro (for Turnbull, 92) N/A
