It's shaping up to be the mother of all transfer weeks for Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers could be set to announce as many as five new signings to the club before Friday's deadline day.

Honduran winger Luis Palma is expected to be announced imminently.

The Aris Thessaloniki winger will arrive in Glasgow to put the seal on a £3.5million deal The 23-year-old is expected to join Celtic on a long-term contract and could be set for a baptism of fire debut against Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday.

It's also been reported by Honduran media outlet Diario Diez that Palma will be handed the No.7 jersey after the winge originally requested to wear No.17.

However, fellow summer signing Maik Nawrocki has already picked that number.

The No.7, was previously worn by Giorgos Giakoumakis who vacated the jersey in January when he joined Atlanta United.

It's a number of real significance for Celtic with club legends such as Henrik Larsson, Jimmy Johnstone, and Kenny Dalglish all sporting the famous number.

Rodgers is also on the hunt for a new centre-back after Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh were all ruled out of the Ibrox clash with injury.

That's not the only area that the Northern Irishman is targeting with a left-back and striker also reputed to be high on Rodgers wishlist.

Meanwhile, Rodgers faces a massive decision on the long-term future of wideman Sead Haksabanovic The winger, 24, dropped a bombshell when posted an image of himself alongside Oh Hyeon-gyu in black and white.

Haksabanovic captioned the post: "If they don’t see your value maybe you’re not at the right place".

The Montenegrin came on as a substitute in Celtic's 0-0 draw with St Johnstone on Saturday.

The forward has played just two times for Celtic in the opening four matches across the league and Viaplay Cuop totalling just 45 minutes under Rodgers.

He wasn't in the matchday squad for the win over Ross County, was left on the bench against Aberdeen and made cameo appearances against Kilmarnock and St Johnstone.

It remains to be seen if Haksabanovic stays with the club or is allowed to leave before the end of the transfer window.
