Joe Hart: The Celtic number one had very little to do. He was a virtual spectator in the rain but showed top levels of concentration when he looked to have got a crucial hand to Bruce Anderson's shot which hit the inside of the post and stayed out just before the break. 7

Alistair Johnston: He really has settled into the Celtic way and has made a wonderful start to his Hoops career. If anybody was worried about the void created by the departure of Josip Juranovic then those fears have been quickly dispelled. He is a real competitor and he loves the art of defending first and foremost. He is as composed and sharp on the field as he is off it. 8

Cameron Carter-Vickers: Strolled through proceedings and you almost felt heart sorry for lone Livi striker Bruce Anderson who got no change out of the USA international all evening. He read everything superbly well and his concentration levels are excellent. He is a formidable presence at the back of the pack. 8

Carl Starfelt: The Swedish central defender made it six matches on the spin without conceding a goal. However, he had one real moment of slackness when he slipped whilst being put under real pressure from Anderson who looked to have given him a nudge which made him go to the ground and the striker ran on and slammed an effort off the woodwork. 8

Greg Taylor: There were signs of ring-rustiness on Tayside after his injury lay-off. The full-back soon got back in the swing of things and seemed determined to make up for his lost time on the sidelines. He linked up superbly well with the likes of Maeda, Hatate and O'Riley and picked up some great positions. He crashed the hosts in front with a piledriver just before the half-hour mark. It was his third Celtic career goal. How the Hoops missed him when he was out of the side. 8

Callum McGregor: David Martindale and Jason Holt labelled the Celtic skipper the best player in Scotland. It is hard to argue with that assertion based on McGregor's current form. The captain received a special presentation of a framed Celtic jersey before kick-off from Ange Postecoglou to mark chalking up 400 career games for the club. He copped an early sore one when Anderson's flailing arm caught him on the nose which made it bleed and forced him off the field temporarily. He just patrols the middle of the park with consummate ease. 8

Reo Hatate: The Scottish player-of-the-year contender started his 17th league game in a row for the Hoops which is no mean feat under the Aussie boss. He fired an early dig wide of the target. He then linked superbly with his compatriot Maeda which should have produced the opening goal for Jota. He was picking out passes and crosses at will and he provided the assist for Taylor's strike that broke the deadlock. A real baller. 8

Matt O'Riley: Ange Postecoglou decided to start with the Danish under-21 midfielder at the expense of the excellent Aaron Mooy who is staking his own claim to be the best midfielder in Scottish football. He drifted in and out of the play and probed away in the engine room and always looked to play the risky, creative passes. It was O'Riley's fantastic raking long pass that led to the killer third goal. 7

Celtic Way:

Jota: "I am someone who looks to be better and to develop my skills and my fitness levels as well as my tactical aspects. Every day I wake up with the same mentality that I will learn from everyone," the words of the Portuguese winger ahead of this match. The 23-year-old is rediscovering his mojo and his twinkle-toes have been highly entertaining of late and is returning to peak fitness. He should have burst the net in 11 minutes but somehow Maeda's cross eluded him and missed a sitter in first-half injury time when he hit Shamal George with a low effort when he ought to have scored. He always looked capable and had the beating of James Penrice. 7

Kyogo Furuhashi: He is enjoying an outstanding season so far. He was inches away from sliding his team in front and was denied by some last-ditch defending. His movement was quick and sharp and it was no surprise when he lashed home an exquisite third as he punished Livi with a trademark clinical low drive to claim number 21 for the season. It was the Japanese talisman's third goal in three league outings against the Lions thus far. He screwed an early second-half effort wide. 8

Daizen Maeda: He was reinstated to the starting eleven in place of Liel Abada despite missing a sitter against Dundee United with the last touch of the match. He knocked Nicky Devlin on his backside with an early shoulder barge and then laid one on a plate for Jota who contrived to miss a sitter when he was standing inches from goal. Grabbed a fortuitous and bizarre second goal when Ayo Obileye smashed a clearance off him which landed in the back of the net. He was a constant menace and livewire. 8

Substitutes

Liel Abada (Jota 63): The Israeli winger replaced Jota just after the hour mark as Celtic showed their strength in depth. He was the victim of a crude challenge by Stephen Kelly and thankfully got back on his feet. 5

Aaron Mooy (O'Riley 63): Daddy Cool came on for O'Riley for the last 27 minutes when the game was well and truly won. He seemed to be everywhere in the park during the time he played. 5

Oh Hyeon-gyu (Kyogo 75): South Korean international striker was handed a chance to take his home bow when he was given the last quarter of an hour.

David Turnbull (Hatate 75): Came on for Hatate after 75 minutes.
