Joe Hart: The ex-England No.1 had no saves at all to make during the contest. He had a ringside seat watching his teammates struggle to break the hosts down and went a bizarre wander near the end that resulted in some comic book defending. 7

Josip Juranovic: The Croatian right-back diverted early danger with his head quite superbly and he linked well with McGregor and Abada and hit two free-kicks that Macey comfortably delay with. 7

Cameron Carter-Vickers: The USA internationalist is never usually one to panic and normally brings an air of calmness and solidity to the back of the Celtic pack. He got hustled out of possession a couple of times but was never in any real danger. 7

Carl Starfelt: The Swedish defender got too touch-tight and was rightly cautioned by referee Kevin Clancy when he ploughed into the back of Kevin Nisbet who ended up hobbling off. Settled down after that rash moment and got on with the game. 6

Greg Taylor: The left-back was restored to the side and did well enough. He always looked to feed and link up with Jota and slotted back into the inverted role with relative ease. 6

Callum McGregor: The midfielder continues to play with the protective face mask but it certainly doesn't impair his vision. The skipper was everywhere and he always stuck the foot in and broke up attacks and was on hand to drive the team forward at all times. 7

Reo Hatate: The Japanese midfielder was full of energy but the intensity levels of recent performances were noticeably missing. He was another who looked a bit jaded and things just didn't seem to come off for him. 6

Tom Rogic: The Aussie has looked out of sorts recently and was relatively quiet in the opening 45 and he also copped a booking more out of frustration than anything else with a mistimed challenge. He was given just 12 minutes of the second half before he made way for O'Riley. 5

Liel Abada: Set free and clear by Jota's wonderful pass but could only find the side netting. Saw a lot of the ball out wide right but too often overshot the runway with his deliveries into the box. He forced Macey into a block with his foot from a late drive. 6

Jota: The Portuguese winger's ball control uncharacteristically let him down twice in the first half but he did ping a beautiful crossfield diagonal to Abada who hit the side netting. Hit a wayward drive in the second half but was well policed all afternoon. 6

Daizen Maeda: The Japanese striker has still to fully convince the doubters that he has what it takes to cut it as the main man. Whilst he is full of endeavour his manager and supporters desperately want to see him threaten in the areas where he can hurt the opposition the most. 6

Substitutes:

Matt O'Riley: Came on in 57 minutes for the ineffective Rogic. He drilled a free-kick straight at Macey after 70 minutes. 5
