The pressure of the title race continues to build with some midweek action in the Premiership.

It's Celtic's turn to have a home game, while Rangers make the short trip down the M77 to Ayrshire to face high-flying Kilmarnock.

Brendan Rodgers' side will be looking to maintain at least a two-point gap at the summit of the table.

But with Killie's tremendous home form, and their tendency to take points off Glasgow's big two, the next round of games could present an opportunity for the Hoops to make up ground on their arch-rivals or even overtake them.

Here's everything you need to know about this one...

Team news

After Adam Idah's heroics in Lanarkshire, it seems likely that the Republic of Ireland forward will be included from the start for this one.

It was his double that gave the Hoops an impetus to gain all three points at Fir Park, with Luis Palma adding a late third.

Tomoki Iwata made his first appearance since early December on Sunday, so could be in line for another start.

Meanwhile, Yang was impressive during his time on the pitch too.

Cameron Carter-Vickers may be afforded a start after stepping up his recovery from injury, although, Rodgers and the medical team will want to be cautious with the American international.

Maik Nawrocki looks poised to miss the fixture after picking up a knock against the Steelmen.
