Everything Greg Taylor and Callum McGregor had to say in their post-match interview with Sky Sports after Celtic defeated Livingston 3-0...

Can you sum up that victory?

GT: We knew after a European performance, it would be difficult with an early kick-off. We started the game well and then went down to 10 men. We showed real strong mentality to get the win.

Did the red card change your game plan?

GT: I think we just had to be that bit stronger, that bit more together and everyone gave that extra wee yard for each other. I think the quality showed in the performance with those two quality goals at the end.

How do you rate your own performance?

GT: I think I played well, as did everyone, and that is what is going to be needed throughout the season. Even the boys that came on did well.

Callum, what did the manager say at half time?

CM: Just to stay calm. We obviously have that shape so that when we went down to 10 men, we still had numbers in midfield to keep the ball. Like Greg said we just need to run and stay together for second balls then we get the ball we just need to make the most of it. I thought the second half was excellent.

You could have scored more goals?

CM: Yeah, we always have a threat on the counter-attack with Daizen. He never stops running and gets his reward with the goal. We have pace and quality throughout the team and are a hard team to play against.

Were you worried when Joe Hart made that challenge that a red card was going to be shown?

Yeah, probably. It is just one of those moments where he is trying to read the game and it is fine. It is all about the strength of the squad, the team and having the mentality to come here off the back of a European game, even when you lose the man, you see the togetherness and the fact everyone is running for each other. We got the result we deserved.
