Slavia Prague president Jaroslav Tvrdík has insisted his manager Jindřich Trpisovsky is happy at the Czech club after he was linked with a shock move to Celtic.

And Trpisovsky's agent has backed him up by stressing he's going nowhere.

The 47-year-old led Slavia to three Czech titles in a row and was strongly linked to Parkhead before Celtic swooped for Ange Postecoglou two years ago instead.

However, Slavia were only runners-up this season as rivals Sparta Prague won their first title for nine years.

But he's back in the betting markets as a possible contender to replace the Australian.

And Slavia president Tvrdík has even gone out of his way to assure the club's supporters that his manager won't be going to Glasgow.

He said: "Jindřich Trpisovsky is on vacation and his agent is in Turkey for the Champions League Final.

"Slavia is not dealing with his release from the valid contract, nor looking for a replacement manager."

And Trpisovsky's agent, Jiri Muller, said: "In recent years, we have been pleased by the interest of clubs and national teams in the possible services of Jindřich Trpisovsky and his staff.

"But his heart is now red and white and he is looking forward to the next big challenges with Slavia."

Trpisovsky - whose team knocked Rangers out of the Europa League in 2021 - has been with Slavia for five years and just signed a new deal with the Prague clun until 2026.

He's previously rejected offers from Besiktas, Lokomotiv Moscow, Olympiakos and Nottingham Forest.
