Eagle-eyed Celtic fans have noticed that both Reo Hatate and Aaron Mooy were not present in a recent training montage.

The video was posted on the club's YouTube channel and showed various players, such as Matt O'Riley and Jota, being put through their paces at the Parkhead side's training facility, Lennoxtown.

However, both Hatate and Mooy, who each found themselves injured before the international break, were nowhere to be seen.

The Japanese playmaker was not called up by his country for their set of friendlies but Mooy would have been a certainty to be included in the Australia squad had he not had a knock.

And fans were quick to comment on the video, pointing out that neither man was involved in the proceedings.

Meanwhile, former Celtic Women striker Ruesha Littlejohn has given her thoughts on the post-match skirmish between Hoops boss Fran Alonso and Rangers coach Craig McPherson.

Video footage appeared to show Rangers coach Craig McPherson approach Alonso before pushing his head into the back of the Celtic manager.

It ended 1-1 at Broadwood after a late equaliser for Celtic defender Caitlyn Hayes.

Alonso told Sky Sports he was also called a "little rat" in the chaotic aftermath of the match.

And now Littlejohn, who played for the Hoops across three different spells, feels McPherson "absolutely lost the head".

Speaking to talkSPORT, she said: "It is not something we have seen a lot of in the women's game but look it is growing and getting bigger.

"I think maybe emotions have taken over and I am sure it will be dealt with accordingly.

When asked if she had ever witnessed something like that during her time in Glasgow she replied: "In a Rangers v Celtic game? No. On the pitch, it has been heated at times but there has been nothing too much to talk about.

"I think there have been a few red cards over the years and a bit of aggro on the sidelines maybe but nothing like that.

"I am sure he (McPherson) will go away and hold his hands up and say 'it was not right'.

"In the heat of the moment, he has absolutely lost his head but I am sure the SFA will deal with it accordingly."
