Ticket information has been announced for Celtic Women's game against Rangers at Broadwood Stadium on March 27.

The match kicks off at 7.30pm with tickets priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.

It is the first of the Hoops' post-spit fixtures as they search for their first SWPL title.

Fran Alonso's side defeated their Glasgow rivals 3-0 last time out after Caitlyn Hayes opened the scoring for the hosts in the previous fixture.

A whipped-in corner from Jacynta Galabadaarachchi was met by the defender in the air to give the Hoops an early advantage.

Just a minute into the second-half last season's double winners were 2-0 up.

Forward Amy Gallacher scored her seventh goal of 2023 after a scuffed finish found its way into the back of the net.

And just two minutes later, it was game over as Hayes notched her second of the evening in almost identical fashion to her first.

Another corner was whipped in from Jacynta and the defender met the ball unchallenged to easily nod it home.

The Ghirls currently sit a point above Rangers in second place but are six points behind leaders Glasgow City.

Meanwhile, Celtic hero Scott Brown has praised Ange Postecoglou's recruitment at Celtic, calling it "exceptional".

The former Hoops captain, who is currently in charge of English League One side Fleetwood Town, feels the Australian deserves plenty of praise for how he has performed in the transfer market.

Brown in particular highlighted how the 57-year-old has used his knowledge of the J1 League to bring in player such as Kyogo Furuhashi, Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda.

He said: "His recruitment has been exceptional. There’s been a lot of British people coming to the club from England as well.

"But he’s got great recruitment. I know he was over in Japan for a time and he would have seen and understood what they are like."
