Former Celtic forward Oliver Burke has joined Millwall on loan until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old is currently on the books of Werder Bremen in Germany but has struggled to get regular game-time with the Bundesliga side.

He has made 15 appearances for the club this season and has scored twice.

The Scotland international, who has been capped 13 times for his country, spent a short period at the Hoops on loan during the 2018-19 season and picked up a League and Scottish Cup winners medal during his time in Glasgow.

Burke returns to Millwall after spending the second part of last season at the English Championship team.

Meanwhile, ex-Celt Moussa Dembele is on his way to the Premier League.

Southampton have reportedly had a £3million bid for the striker accepted by Lyon.

The 26-year-old is out of contract at the French giants come the summer, and they are willing to cash in on the striker now to gain some funds.

He has only played 14 times this season, scoring just twice.

An exit has been on the cards for some time now, and Football Scotland claims the one-time Parkhead man is Southampton-bound.

Their report states that an offer was lodged last night, with Lyon accepting it today.

It's now down to Dembele and his representatives to thrash out a move with the window closing tomorrow night.

The report also states that Celtic will only earn a fraction of a fee from the sale.

He moved from Glasgow to France in 2018 for £20million.
