Everything Celtic winger Sead Haksabanovic had to say ahead of the Hoops taking on Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

Congratulations on your monthly award - how does that feel?

It feels good. I am happy for myself.

How much do you think you have come on since you joined Celtic as you got those three goals in November?

I think I have done alright. Hopefully, I can score more goals and get more assists so I can help the team win. I am enjoying myself and having fun.

You have only been in Scottish football for a few months but you seem to have settled in very well - are you and Scottish football a good fit?

I would say so. As I said I am enjoying myself and I am loving life here with my team-mates and the staff here. I am enjoying it.

How good is it to be back to the proper action after the break? It must be nice to have that to look forward to and the challenge for Celtic is to pick up where you left off before the break.

It is always good to play games because that's what you want to do as a player. Hopefully, we can play well tomorrow and be focused and continue from where we left off or maybe even better.

How beneficial has the break been?

The break has been good and I have spent time with my family and everything, so it has been good but I am happy to be back.

What sort of challenge awaits you in Aberdeen?

We know it's going to be a tough game. There are no easy games in this league. Everybody needs to be focused on their game one hundred per cent. Hopefully, we can get a good result and move on from there.

Did you expect to hit the ground running so quickly in Scottish football? You are already scoring goals and playing well.

No, I didn't expect it. I know what I can do and stuff like that. I didn't expect to win player of the month. I am just happy for myself and the team and to help them with goals, assists and playing well and everything. I am just happy to be here.

What does the rest of the season look like for you - is it about cementing a regular place in the team, more goals and assists or winning trophies?

I would say all of that. Hopefully, I can achieve all of that. I just try to be better in training and games every day and work hard.

You said earlier that you have done alright in Scottish football - is there much more to come from you?

I would say there is more to come from me. I came without playing any games now I have some games behind me so hopefully, I can improve. I want to do more and score more goals.

Can you tell us how much Ange Postecoglou is different from previous managers you have had and how much he has improved you in the time that you have been here?

He is different in the sense that he plays offensively in an aggressive way. He's giving me confidence and he is telling me that I can do my one-on-ones and don't be afraid. He has given me the confidence to go out and play.

Celtic Way:

Can you give us your thoughts on the World Cup and the performances of some of your team-mates?

Daizen Maeda scored a goal and I am very happy for him and he did very well. Josip Juranovic has done great and Cameron Carter Vickers did really well in the game he played. Aaron Mooy is smart and he knows how to play the game. He performed really well too.

Does seeing those players playing on that stage show that signing for a club like Celtic can lead to bigger and better things?

I see them every day in training and I know what they can do. I am not surprised that they are doing so well as I know how good they are.

Can you tell me how much of a boost it is to the squad to have Callum McGregor back after his period out injured?

I would say it is a big boost but he has always been there for us in every game and training. He always helps us. He sacrifices himself on the pitch at times and he is a really good player as well. We are really happy to have him back.

You have developed a great relationship with the Celtic support - how much does that help you knowing that the fans are behind you?

It helps as much as it does with your relationship with the players, especially when you come to a new club you want to enjoy a good relationship with the fans and especially at a club like Celtic because the fan base is so big. I am happy to be good with them and whenever I see them in the city I always try and be nice to them.

You spoke after your goal against Ross County and you said you were fit and ready to contribute. You have been to Sydney and Portugal recently do you think you are ready to tackle this part of the season?

I feel good and I have been training hard alongside the whole team. I think we are ready and I feel ready and we can continue from where we left off.

Since we last spoke we have added Alistair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi is that a sign of how competitive Celtic are as a club?

I would say so. I haven't seen so much from them and from what I have seen they are very good players and will fit in well with our squad.
