Celtic midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi is set to be given the chance to leave the Parkhead, according to reports.

The Scottish Sun claim that "several J-League clubs are monitoring the player" as the Hoops are "looking to offload him"

One of the teams interested is said to be his former employers Gamba Osaka.

It has been a tough 12 months for the Japan international, who has made only one start since joining the club in January.

The 26-year-old has been plagued by injuries since signing for the Scottish champions and is yet to make a competitive appearance this season.

He has never fully recovered from an ankle knock suffered against Alloa in a Scottish Cup tie earlier this year and was restricted to mostly coming off the bench for cameos during the title run in last season.

Meanwhile, in terms of players who could be coming in to Parkhead, the Bhoys are apparently "interested" in Tunisian midfielder Aissa Laidouni.

This is according to Italian media outlet Foot Mercato.

The Fercenvaros player featured for his country at the World Cup in Qatar.

The publication has linked him with Ange Postecoglou's men, as well as a host of other teams, such as Wolfsburg.

They describe him as being a "revelation" at the tournament in the middle east.

Laidouni played all three games for Tunisia at the World Cup, including their final group stage match against France, in which they pulled off a shock victory.

However, it was not enough to keep them in the competition.

The midfielder is said to be valued at £3.5 million.
