ANGE POSTECOGLOU has revealed that on-form Celtic winger Sead Haksabanovic was taken off against Hibs due to an ongoing ankle issue.
The winger enjoyed a stormer of a first-half, involved in all three goals and notching one assist.
It was a surprise to many when he didn't emerge for the second-half, with Daizen Maeda taking his place.
However, the manager has detailed the reason for his absence after the break.
He told Celtic TV: "He had a bit of an ankle issue going into the game but he was really keen to play.
"Once the game was sort of done we took him off after 45-minutes."
The game finished 6-1 to the hosts, with James Forrest netting a hat-trick.
Giorgos Giakoumakis bagged a brace while Maeda rounded off the scoring late on.
