DERMOT GALLAGHER reckons St Mirren's second goal against Celtic should not have stood and he is adamant VAR would have ruled out Jonah Ayunga's finish.
The frontman bundled home to double his team's advantage as they inflicted a first defeat on the Hoops in nearly a year.
Joe Hart appealed for a foul by Ayunga on Stephen Welsh after the goal and Gallagher is in agreement with the former England goalkeeper.
He told Sky Sports News: "I think he gets lucky. You can't see from here but from the other angle you see he pushes Welsh in the back. He pushes him away.
"Joe Hart has the perfect view, he has the view the referee wants. If the referee has that view he would give the foul.
"It comes off his shoulder too so he is doubly lucky. If there was VAR that would be reviewed and disallowed."
