Celtic defender Christopher Jullien is reportedly undergoing '24 hours of tests' during his medical at Montpellier as the defender looks to seal a move.
The 29-year-old is out of favour at the Hoops, having only made one competitive appearance since Ange Postecoglou joined the club last year.
It has been a torrid couple of seasons for the Frenchman, who had a brilliant debut year for the Bhoys, which saw him score crucial goals against Rangers and Lazio as he was part of a treble-winning team before the pandemic.
However, after injuring his knee during a match against Dundee United in late 2020, the former Toulouse man has never been able to regain his place in the starting XI.
Now it seems he is nearing an end to his tough time at Parkhead, with the French outlet ICI reporting he will join Ligue 1 side Montpellier if he can get through a 'rigorous' medical.
The two-time Scottish Premiership winner almost left Celtic earlier on in the transfer window after he travelled to Germany ahead of a proposed move to Schalke.
This broke down, though, when an agreement reportedly could not be reached over finances.
