CELTIC are reportedly among clubs contacted by Jordan Larsson's representatives as he looks for a new club.

The Sweden international - and son of Parkhead icon Henrik - is a free agent having left Spartak Moscow after his contract was terminated.

Larsson, 25, spent the second half of last season on loan at AIK in Sweden but is now on the hunt for a new permanent club.

Celtic have long been linked with Larsson through his father's connection with the club - but a move had appeared unlikely.

However, Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph claims Celtic and Nottingham Forest are two of a number of European clubs to have been alerted to his availability.

Sharing the update on social media, the report suggests there is also significant interest from the Premier League, Bundesliuga and Serie A.

Mr Joseph reports: "The reps of striker Jordan Larsson have been in contact with a number of clubs across Europe, including Celtic & Nottingham Forest.

"He’s a free agent after his contract was terminated at Spartak Moscow.

"Understood to be plenty of interest from EPL, Bundesliga & Serie A clubs."
