CELTIC have urged rapper Snoop Dogg to get his flights booked ahead of the Premiership trophy lift at Parkhead next week.

The rapper is a distant Celtic supporter and insisted he would be on a plane to Scotland as soon as the title race was decided.

Celtic secured the crown tonight after drawing 1-1 with Dundee United at Tannadice and the official club Twitter account sent Snoop a message.

"Get those flights booked," they wrote alongside a picture of the Snoop kitted out in Celtic attire.

He previously said: “My Bhoys are not there yet but after their win against Rangers, they are getting close to winning the championship.

“Snoop hasn’t booked his ticket just yet but the passport is out of the safe.

“As soon as they are champions, you better believe I am on that flight to Glasgow.

“The night is going to go off and whatever they want to do, it’s all going to be on Snoop.

“The champagne is going to be out and we are going to get it poppin’."

Snoop Dogg will also be in Glasgow on August 26 for a gig at Glasgow's OVO Hydro.

His allegiance to Celtic is said to have began back in 2005 after he received a Celtic shirt from DJ Big Al.
