ANGE POSTECOGLOU has provided an injury update on both Matt O'Riley and Greg Taylor following yesterday's victory over Rangers.

Taylor was on from the start but limped off after 71 minutes and was replaced by Anthony Ralston.

O'Riley came on for Tom Rogic just after the hour mark but was then replaced on 76 minutes after picking up a knock in a strong 50/50 challenge.

Updating on the pair, Postecoglou told Celtic TV: “They shouldn’t be too bad. Greg was just cramp. Matty got a bit of a decent knock.

“He probably could’ve soldiered on but with the game being as it is and we’ve got a bench now that can make a difference, we thought we would take him off and just protect him.”

Postecoglou also hailed his players’ character after their 2-1 comeback win over Rangers at Ibrox took them six points clear at the top of the cinch Premiership.

He beamed: “I’m really proud of the players. It was a proper derby, both teams were at it and they obviously got off to a great start and the crowd was up for it.

“To come back from that and show the resilience we did, we played ourselves back into the game and got ahead.

“Then the character in the second half to defend as we did, like I said I’m really proud.

“This group of players just really believes in what we’re trying to create here.

“I thought when we needed to we found the football to get us back in the game.”
