CELTIC starlet Daniel Kelly is reportedly set to agree a three-year contract to remain at Parkhead.

The B Team ace is claimed to be ready to sign professional terms with Celtic amid interest from the Premier League.

The Daily Record claim Kelly will finalise his contract with Celtic by the end of the week with Arsenal and Liverpool linked with the playmaker.

Benfica have also been credited with interest in the 16-year-old who was on a pre-pro-contact deal at Celtic.

The report also suggests Mitchell Frame is also close to agreeing new terms.

Tottenham, Wolves and Crystal Palace were suggested as potential suitors for the full-back but the Hoops were keen to keep him developing in Glasgow.

The reported new deals for youngsters come as Celtic look to hold onto youth talent Ben Doak amid significant interest from Liverpool.

Speaking on interest, Ange Postecoglou said: “I've said all along my role is to look after the footballers that want to be here. The footballers that don't want to be here? There's another avenue there for them.

"When you look at the starting line-up against Dundee United there were a few boys who started out as ball boys for our club.

“You can't tell me they haven't had careers - they've represented their country, they've won trophies.

"There are a couple down south who started here too. People may think going down south is a reward or some guarantee of success.

“Life - and football in general - shows you there are many avenues towards that goal. I think you're in a great place here if that's what your end game is."
