ANGE POSTECOGLOU has refused to put a timeframe on Kyogo Furuhashi's comeback from injury, but the Celtic boss has hinted that it could be around the international break next month.

Japan face make-or-break qualifiers at the end of next month against Australia and Vietnam in Sydney and Saitama for a place in Qatar.

And the national team boss hopes to have Kyogo fit and available.

Hajime Moriyasu held talks with Postecoglou this week about Celtic's Japenese talents, but the Aussie boss was still tight-lipped on a possible injury return date.

He told Sky Sports News: "I wouldn't put any timeframe on it. Kyogo, it is just his nature, he is working really hard to get back as soon as possible.

"Whether that is during the internationals or just after that, we will have to wait and see.

"He won't be far off. I have a really good relationship with the national team manager, I have known him for quite a while.

"He has been really supportive of our stance and we have been supportive of the national team.

"Kyogo will be the driver for that and he is working hard. As I say I wouldn't put any timeframes on it."
