Joe Hart: The former Manchester City and England No.1 breathed a huge sigh of relief when Sporle crashed one wide of the target after just five minutes. He was a virtual spectator in the opening 45 minutes. His distribution and handling were as safe as houses whenever he was called upon. 8

Anthony Ralston: The right full-back took the place of Josip Juranovic in the starting eleven and he linked up the play well with the likes of Abada and O'Riley. He also had a second-half effort saved by Siegrist and made way for Doak on 68 minutes. 6

Cameron Carter-Vickers: The USA internationalist is coolness and calmness personified. He was never in any danger and is strolling it at the minute in a Celtic jersey and the on-loan Spurs man continues to enjoy his football in Scotland. 8

Carl Starfelt: The Swedish defender delay superbly well with Sporle's early cross into the danger area. The rugged defender may have his detractors but he appears to have hit some sort of stride and is performing consistently at this moment in time. 8

Liam Scales: The Irishman was restored to the line-up in place of Greg Taylor. He was keen to get forward and help the attackers whenever he could but it left a slight imbalance down the left and Ange opted for Juranocic at the break. 5

Nir Bitton: The Israeli midfielder continued to skipper the side in Callum McGregor's absence. He was his usual tidy self but blotted his copybook by being sent-off in the second half for a second bookable offence for a moment of frustration which rules him out of the Rangers game. 5

Matt O'Riley: The midfielder was making his home debut and continued from where he left off at Tynecastle with another accomplished display. He forced a fine diving save from Siegrist but missed an absolute sitter minutes later when he fired wide of the post and was unlucky not to score with a glancing header. 8

Reo Hatate: The Japanese star is fast earning cult hero status in Paradise. He possesses wonderful technique. Whilst he may not have been as influential as he was against both Hibs and Hearts he still sets a decent personal bar. He was subbed off on 68 minutes for Taylor. 6

Liel Abada: The Israeli wide man was given the nod over Jota and he spurned Celtic's best chance of the match on 26 minutes when he slammed the ball off Siegrist from an angle when a cut across the six-yard box would have been the better option. He looked very sharp all afternoon and he looked the more likely player to force the breakthrough and he did for the ten men in injury time as he bagged his 12th goal in Celtic colours. 8

James Forrest: Started for the second game in succession and the wide man floated in and out of proceedings. He did tee up midfielder O'Riley for the glorious chance that he spurned but was generally lack-lustre and unproductive. He unsurprisingly made way for Jota at half-time. 4

Giorgos Giakoumakis: The Greek striker sprung the offside trap early and was robbed by a brilliant last-ditch challenge by Callum Butcher and almost repeated Wednesday's trick by scooping the ball into the net on 33 minutes but his effort spun agonisingly wide. He missed a gilt-edged opportunity in 66 minutes when he was played in by Jota but denied by the foot of Siegrist and sliced another great chance wide. 6

Substitutes:

Josip Juranovic: The Croatian internationalist replaced Scales at the interval and was deployed at left-back instead of his natural right-back position. He linked the play well with Jota at every conceivable opportunity. 6

Jota: The Portuguese winger replaced James Forrest after 45 minutes and he looked right u for it and in the mood. He set up Giakoumakis who should have buried his chance and certainly had the beating of the Tangerines defence and crossed for Abada to bag the winner. 7

Greg Taylor: Replaced Reo Hatate after 68 minutes as Celtic chased a winning goal. 3

Ben Doak: The young B team star came on to replace Ralston on 68 minutes and displayed his blistering pace on occasion. 3

James McCarthy: Given seven minutes for Giakoumakis after Bitton sending off.

Substitutes not used: Scott Bain, Christopher Jullien, Ismalia Soro, Stephen Welsh.
