JAMES MCPAKE is considering an offer to take Osaze Urgoghide on loan from Celtic, according to reports.
The Dundee manager is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of a huge second half of the season in the Premiership.
Jay Chapman has already been signed at Dens Park this month, having joined on a free transfer from Inter Miami.
But while the midfielder is the first through the door at the Dark Blues, McPake is keen to ensure he's not the last.
The Daily Record report that Dundee want to land a deal to sign Celtic's Urhoghide.
Talks have reportedly been held over the potential loan, but a deal has yet to be agreed.
The 21-year-old joined Celtic on a free from Sheffield Wednesday during the summer.
However, he has made only one first team appearance this season, and Ange Postecoglou wants the Dutch defender to get more experience.
It's said that both Dundee and Celtic are still in talks over Leigh Griffiths' loan.
