A trip to Dingwall lies in store for Celtic as Ange Postecoglou's injury-ravaged side try to make it 14 domestic games unbeaten against Ross County.

With the League Cup final at Hampden to come on Sunday, this could be an opportunity for someone to play themselves into contention for the showpiece.

Kyogo, Jota and James Forrest are all set to miss out against the Staggies with Mikey Johnston also rated highly doubtful.

It never rains but it pours for the Celtic boss but the Aussie and his men are a resilient bunch.

Nothing less than three points will do for the men from Glasgow's End as Ange's side seek to stay on the coattails of league leaders Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

A trip to Dingwall in deepest December will require a certain resolve from Celtic as they look to ensure no further ground is conceded in the fight for the title.

The Highlanders will be buoyed by their recent form which has drawn others around them firmly into a relegation dogfight while their battling 3-2 win over Dundee at the weekend means they go into tonight's game in the frame of mind that suggests they have little to lose.

Celtic will not be caught unawares by the kind of game that will play out against Ross County.

And while the loss of Kyogo Furuhashi and Jota is massive for Ange Postecoglou's side, the reality is that they ought to have the resources and personnel to leave with three points from their trip, no matter how difficult their hosts will make it.

Key to Celtic will be the likes of Tom Rogic, David Turnbull and Callum McGregor, all of whom are capable of changing the game with their creativity and vision.

The attacking conundrum remains and having midfield players able to supplement attacking moves will be crucial.

Alison's team: Hart; Juranovic, Starfelt, Carter-Vickers, Taylor, McGregor, Bitton, Rogic,  Abada, Turnbull, Scales.

Celtic are on an impressive domestic run as they head to the Highlands to face Ross County having not tasted defeat in their last 13 Premiership and League Cup outings.

Malky Mackay's side will be no slouches though as they are unbeaten in their last four league outings with two wins and two draws moving them off the foot of the table.

Despite playing with no recognised Celtic contrived to create a whole host of chances against Motherwell in the 1-0 win Premiership at Celtic Park on Sunday but they were profligate in the extreme.

It's all about winning for Celtic as they just have to find a way by hook or by crook to come back down the road to Glasgow with another three points ticked in their hipper.

With Kyogo, Jota, and James Forrest all ruled out for this one and Mikey Johnston toiling it may see Ange opt for midfielder Liam Scales to be utilised in a more advanced role out wide on the left flank.

The Irishman also showed he had an eye for goal when he came on and scored at Tannadice in the 3-0 win over Dundee United.

Scales will also relish the opportunity to play himself into Sunday's League Cup final starting eleven against Hibs at Hampden Park.

I fully expect Celtic to follow a similar shale that they occupied against the Steelmen with David Turnbull leading the line and Tom Rogic in behind, ably assisted by Liel Abada on the right and Scales on the left.

It will be a makeshift Celtic side that takes to the field especially in the attacking areas but as the manager, himself has said his players have handled every challenge flung at them thus far and their run won't come to an end in Dingwall.

Tony's team: Hart; Juranovic, Starfelt, Carter-Vickers, Taylor, McGregor, Bitton, Rogic, Abada, Turnbull, Scales.
