Joe Hart: Former England and Manchester City No.1 was unsurprisingly restored to the starting line-up and rushed to the edge of his box early to punch clear from Woolery. He then defied belief and logic when he pulled off an astonishing double save from Goss's deflected shot and then somehow saved the rebound. 8

Josip Juranovic: The Croatian right-back looked like he was everywhere in the park. He smashed a brilliant effort that was deflected inches wide of the target. Sometimes his distribution can be erratic but he is a real bundle of energy and his fitness levels are outstanding. He seems to relish the inverted full-back position and teed up Rogic for a second goal that the Aussie failed to convert. 8

Cameron Carter-Vickers: The American centre-back was double-teamed at one point in the opening exchanges and unbelievably did not get the decision from the officials. The on-loan Spurs star was involved in a tussle with Tony Watt in the box that saw the visitors scream for a penalty but nothing was given. He was solid and robust in defence. 8

Carl Starfelt: The Swedish defender was in a contest with the likes of Tony Watt and Kevin van Veen and the latter was a real physical contender but the centre-back withstood everything the Steelmen duo could throw at him. He really is growing in stature as a Celtic player and is easily winning over any doubters. 8

Greg Taylor: The Scotland star started his second Premiership game on the spin after his outing last weekend at Tannadice. Put Hart under pressure when he was slack with a headed back-pass. He was the victim of a late challenge by Slattery which went unpunished. Starting to look the part once again after his lengthy lay-off with a shoulder injury. 7

Nir Bitton: The Israeli kept his place in the starting eleven having deputised as skipper for Callum McGregor on Thursday when he made his landmark 250th appearance for the club. He really is enjoying a purple patch in the No. 6 role and feels at home in the engine room and should be pleased with his contribution to the cause. 7

Callum McGregor: The captain was so assured and his passing which linked the ball from middle to front was exquisite at times. He helped orchestrate the move which led to Turnbull's free-kick routine. The Scotland midfielder did the decoy run and it created the space for Rogic to score. Another player who just makes Celtic tick. 8

James Forrest: Occupied a left-wing berth and he missed an early sitter when he linked beautifully with McGregor and he toe-poked the ball off Liam Kelly and inches wide but no corner was given. The winger left the field on 17 minutes after feeling a niggle which saw him limp off to be replaced by Mikey Johnston. 3

Tom Rogic: The Wizard of Oz's touch and awareness was a joy to watch all afternoon. He looked the Celtic player most capable of carving the visitors open and the silky star superbly slotted the ball high into the net after a textbook training ground free-kick routine. He should have made it 2-0 inside the opening minute of the second half but was denied a second goal by Liam Kelly and a woeful sidefoot finish. 9

Liel Abada: The Israeli started in his favoured right-wing position and he hammered an effort down the throat of Liam Kelly in the 37th minute. The winger had a lot of space to exploit but he didn't make the most of it often enough and his first touch left a lot to desired on occasion. He really should lift his head more and assess his options and cracked a header off the crossbar early in the second half. 6

David Turnbull: Handed an unaccustomed role as the No. 9 in place of the injured Kyogo. He slammed in a piledriver that Kelly brilliantly tipped over the top but he got his angles all wrong when he tried the spectacular with the outside of the boot with Kelly in no man's land and failed to execute it. However, he teed up Rogic for the crucial opener right on half-time with the correct weight of pass instead of going for goal himself but his link-up play at times was decent. 7

Substitutes:

Mikey Johnston: Replaced Forrest on 18 minutes and smashed an effort into the side netting on 33 minutes when he cut in from the left with a piece of positive play. He was denied a headed goal from Kelly's fine diving save before making way himself for Anthony Ralston on 80 minutes. 5

Anthony Ralston: A welcome return to the first-team fold for Ralston who combined with Juranovic to help set up Rogic's late chance. 2

Substitutes not used: Scott Bain, James McCarthy, Liam Shaw, Ewan Henderson,  Stephen Welsh.
