It's crunch time for Celtic in the Europa League as they take on Ferencvaros in Hungary.

A win for Ange Postecoglou's side will see the men from Glasgow's East End will keep their hopes of automatic qualification from Group G very much alive.

Celtic impressively defeated the Hungarians 2-0 at Celtic Park with goals from Kyogo and David Turnbull last month.

However, Ange will be without defensive linchpin Carl Starfelt as well as midfield dynamo Tom Rogic and there will be no opposition supporters allowed inside the Groupama Arena.

Meanwhile, the Australian head coach looks set to raid the Japanese transfer market once again after the stunning success of striker Kyogo whom he snapped up from Vissel Kobe in the summer Left-sided full-back Kawasaki Fontale player Reo Hatate could be the next player to arrive at Celtic Park as he is a free agent in January.

Hatate, 23, featured for Kawasaki Frontale as they won the club's second successive J1 League title on Wednesday.

Hatate has been capped at every youth level but is still awaiting his first senior call-up and has also won the Japanese Super Cup. He was snapped in tears during the title celebrations and with Celtic heavily tipped to be his next port of call many have interpreted his actions as an emotional goodbye.

Postecoglou has made no secret of his plans to sign more J1 League players due to his extensive knowledge of the league and the market.

With Hatate reputedly in talks with Celtic, he could also be joined by Yokohama F. Marinos attacker Daizen Maeda.

Celtic are still in negotiation with Maeda who has scored 18 goals and provided 3 assists in 32 J1 League appearances this season.

He is currently the leading goalscorer in the J1League.
