Joe Hart: The former Manchester City and England shot-stopper jabbed out an instinctive leg to brilliantly prevent Joe Newell from grabbing a quick-fire equaliser minutes after Anthony Ralston's opener. It turned out to be a crucial save as Celtic doubled their advantage minutes later. Hart was, however, well beaten by Ryan Porteous' close-range header on 36 minutes before thwarting Martin Boyle early in the second half after a short Cameron Carter-Vickers backpass. He went on to pull off another fine stop from Jamie Murphy late on. 8

Anthony Ralston: The right-back ghosted into the penalty area and expertly guided a downward header from David Turnbull's wicked free-kick into the net to put Celtic ahead. It was a top-drawer finish from a wholehearted player who is just loving his football right now. 7

Cameron Carter-Vickers: The USA international deftly volleyed home a superb second following another good Turnbull set-play into the box. The on-loan Tottenham Hotspur centre-back has embraced his role in the Celtic side since arriving but should have been tighter to Porteous for Hibs' counter. Apart from that, and his misplaced backpass, he was generally solid all evening. 8

Carl Starfelt: The Swedish defender doesn't like being put under pressure when the ball is at his feet and looked cumbersome at times. Hibs seemed to target him as a potential weak link and his displays continue to be a mixed bag of good and bad. 7

Josip Juranovic: The Croatian held on to the unaccustomed left-back berth and got forward to link the play well enough. He seems to have settled into team with minimal fuss - although he did indulge in a few histrionics when he was caught in the face by Martin Boyle's flailing hand. 6

Callum McGregor: The skipper was always on hand to offer an outlet and the easy pass. He was ultimately moved further forward when Nir Bitton entered the fray due to Tom Rogic's injury-enforced withdrawal. McGregor could have been on the receiving end of a sore one after managing to ride a reckless lunge by Ryan Porteous, who copped a booking for his troubles. Booked for cynically pulling back Boyle in the second half. 7

David Turnbull: The Scotland midfielder floated over a delicious delivery that Ralston punished due to slack marking in the Hibs box and it was his low corner-kick that was guided into the net on 13 minutes by Carter-Vickers too. Turnbull also slashed an effort wide of the target at 2-0 when he ought to have done better, though he stepped up to the plate when Celtic needed him and peppered the Hibs goal all night with efforts. 7

Mikey Johnston: The winger was handed his first competitive start of the season under Ange Postecoglou after two impressive cameos against Ferencvaros and St Johnstone. Johnston claimed for an early penalty when he went down under Paul McGinn's challenge, but no award was given by referee Don Robertson. The 22-year-old somehow failed to pick out Kyogo with a square pass when the striker would have easily made it three and showed up in flashes before going off late on. 6

Tom Rogic: The Australian absolutely ran the show for 40 minutes. He was tripped by Alex Gogic for the free-kick that led to the opening goal for Ralston, was full of intelligent running and seemed to enjoy the freedom of Easter Road. It was his direct play that led to the third goal before, sadly for Postecoglou and Celtic, he was forced off injured. 7

Jota: The Portuguese winger was quiet for the first half-hour but burst into life when he rolled the ball across the face of goal for Kyogo Furuhashi to roll home the third. Like Johnston, he flitted in and out of proceedings while a good chance in the closing stages was lashed wildly over the top. 6

Kyogo Furuhashi: The Japan international returned to the role of Celtic's main striker and should have had a tap-in for 3-0 but for Johnston's careless pass. In the end, he didn't wait long for his goal as Jota rolled him into net his 10th of the season. Kyogo then contrived to miss an absolute sitter when he slammed a low effort off Matt Macey's leg. He also copped a whack from Porteous on the side of the cheek and was full of energy all evening. 8

Substitutes

Nir Bitton: Replaced the impressive Rogic on 40 minutes and shored everything up which allowed skipper McGregor to advance further forward. 5

Giorgos Giakomakis: The Greek attacker came on for Johnston on 65 minutes and missed a chance to make it 4-1 on the night. 4

Liel Abada: The Israeli winger was given a 10-minute run-out when he replaced Kyogo.
