Kyogo through the middle

There is no doubt that Japanese bhoy Kyogo functions better as a centre-forward. The striker claimed his 10th goal of the season for Celtic when he was on hand to tap home the clinching third from Jota's slide-rule pass along the six-yard box. The problem Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou will have in future is trying to shoe-horn Giorgios Giakoumakis into the side at the expense of moving Kyogo out wide. The Celtic faithful certainly know where they want their new cult hero deployed and it most certainly isn't out on the flank.

Twinkle-toed Tom Rogic rolling back the years

The Australian was absolutely sublime in the 40 minutes he played at Easter Road. He was full of invention, guile, craft and ran tirelessly at the Hibs defence and gave Alex Gogic a torrid time. It was a sad sight to see the fleet-footed Rogic limp off the field five minutes from the interval and Celtic will hope that there is no lasting damage. One of the greatest facets of Ange Postecoglou's reign so far is the fact that he has gotten a tune out of countryman Rogic who to all intents and purposes was heading out the exit door in the summer.  His compatriot has breathed new life into Rogic's Celtic career and he rolled back the years with a vintage display and he helped set up the third goal with his directness.

Five-in-a-row and title credentials

Celtic made it five wins in a row in all competitions as they sharpened their teeth in the capital. A whirlwind start saw them 3-0 up inside half an hour and Ange's men were never going to relinquish such a lead once they had established a domineering foothold in the game. Momentum and confidence is building inside Paradise and the Celtic fans are convinced they are on the verge of something special with Ange at the helm. Three away trips in the month of October and nine points banked as the lead at the summit was cut to just two points. Celtic are on the march and but will it end at the top of the Premiership pile come May?
