If one thing has stood out about Ange Postecoglou's Celtic revolution it's the quality of recruitment.

The Aussie boss hasn't had a transfer failure to speak of despite overhauling the squad on a massive scale.

And Postecoglou isn't focusing on one market despite the tendency in the UK to focus on a narrow band of places to shop.

Speaking to Stan Sports in Australia, he said: "Because of vested interest, I'm always watching the A-League anyway because there are a lot of guys I know and have worked with who are coaching. So I follow their progress very closely. So I follow the A-League.

"In terms of scouting, the one thing with me coming from a place like Australia we have had to be fairly clever and have some ingenuity about the way we look at the game.

"I look at everywhere. I don't follow one market. Here they tend to focus on certain markets.

"I know talent can be found anywhere in the world, including Australia.

"Asian football is something I have great knowledge of and I'm very fond of. Not just Japanese football but other parts of the region.

"In terms of our scouting we are looking everywhere. In terms of Australian players, I have good information networks if anyone does stand out.

"It's not about me giving opportunities just for the sake of it. It will be the right fit.

"I'm always keeping an eye on it."
