It was an important three points were you pleased with the performance?

Yeah, it was an important three points and I was pleased because it was a bit of a danger game for us as we put so much into Thursday night both physically and emotionally. It was a disappointment at the end of it but you have to back up and put in a performance. They're disappointed at the end of it but they know they have to get back up and put in a performance against a tough opponent. They worked hard, they were well organised but I thought we were good. First half we couldn't dominate as much as we would've liked in terms of creating more opportunities but second half I thought we were really on it, scored a goal, could've had another couple and kept them to one chance from a corner.

Were you pleased with the tempo as I know you spoke about it before the match they did maintain and even at the end they comfortably saw the game out?

It was important, as much about showing what we're about as anything else because, after a big European night, there's always the opportunity to have a letdown or go into a game feeling a bit flat. We really put a big emphasis on it and was driven by the lads that worked hard. Cal was driving them the whole game and I thought right to the end, they were right on it.

Speaking of Callum driving the team on the first goal has come from him breaking the lines and a nice ball through from David Turnbull, it was difficult to do that today but both goals came from finding those pockets and the quality came through when required didn't it?

We had to find different ways to break them down as we knew they wouldn't be too open and they would sit pretty deep. Like most teams that come here, it is just important that we find different ways of creating chances and scoring goals for ourselves. It was good to see that we got goals from a couple of different avenues today and again it is important for us as we move forward and continue developing our football.

Talking of games you do not want to see the squad stretched any thinner as you have lost a couple of players - Nir Bitton etc, are you hoping to bring anyone back into the fold for Thursday?

Yeah with a bit of luck Nir should be available again. Tommy Rogic will definitely be available for Thursday, which is good. Carl Starfelt's not too far away, Greg Taylor isn't too far away so we're getting some troops back. We're going to need them, there is a heavy schedule and a lot of games and more importantly, it's not just about the games it is about our level of performance as we do not want it to drop and we are going to need everybody in the squad.
