Celtic midfielder Hyeokkyu Kwon is set to miss the rest of the season at St Mirren through injury.

The 23-year-old joined the Buddies in January on a deal until the end of the season.

And Kwon had earned major plaudits for his displays in Paisley with Stephen Robinson keen to agree an extended loan period beyond the summer.

However, the midfielder has now been ruled out through a hamstring injury - and is unlikely to play again this term.

A St Mirren social media post confirmed: "Four changes for Saints this afternoon as James Bolton, Ryan Strain, Conor McMenamin and Mikael Mandron come in.

"Manager Stephen Robinson confirms that Hyeokkyu Kwon is likely to be out for the rest of the season after picking up a hamstring injury."
