Larsson for Celtic? No, not that one.

The rumour mill and social media went into overdrive as Jordan Larsson was reportedly made available on a free transfer.

Celtic supporters are beside themselves at the thought that the son of club legend Henrik might end up donning the Hoops.

Larsson will be released from his contract at Spartak Moscow. The forward has spent several months with AIK on a short-term deal and he leaves Moscow having scored 27 goals in 83 games.

Henrik scored a staggering 242 goals in 315 matches in seven years and affectionately became known as the 'King of Kings'.

Would they be interested in bringing his son back to Paradise? Is it a no-brainer to sign a fledging Swedish international who has up until now carved his own name in the game of football?

Alison McConnell, Sean Martin and Tony Haggerty discuss Larsson Jr in Tuesday's Celtic Briefing as well as Adam Montgomery's impending loan move to St Johnstone and the club's reported interest in 15-year-old Motherwell defender Bailey Rice.
