ANTHONY Ralston's campaign just goes from strength to strength.

The Celtic defender notched his first goal for his country and got man of the match in the 2-0 UEFA Nations League win against Armenia at Hampden.

What now for Ralston? Can he cement the right-back berth for Scotland? His display surely puts him into contention to start for Steve Clarke's men against the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday.

Will he continue to give Croatian international Josip Juranovic a run for his money in the bid to nail down a regular starting slot with Ange Postecoglou's men next season?

Elsewhere, Celtic have made touch with Benjamin Siegrist's representatives and the former Dundee United goalkeeper could be ready to lay down the gauntlet in Paradise and challenge respective Celtic number one Joe Hart and deputy Scott Bain for the gloves.

Meanwhile, Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis will be hoping to get some more game time tonight as Greece entertain Cyprus in the UEFA Nations League Group C clash.

Giakoumakis - who finished joint top scorer in the Scottish Premiership last season with 13 goals - played 56 minutes of Greece's 1-0 UEFA Nations League win over Kosovo on Sunday.
