Joe Hart: The Celtic shot-stopper was a virtual spectator in the first 45 minutes but held on expertly from a firmly driven cross by Blair Spittal. He unconvincingly punched clear at one stage in the second half but was rarely troubled at all by the Ross County strikeforce. 7

Anthony Ralston: The hero of Dingwall in December replaced the injured Josip Juranovic in the starting 11. He was totally wiped out by Ross Callachan in the early exchanges but recovered well from that. He overlapped to great effect and combined well with Jota down the right flank. 7

Cameron Carter-Vickers: American centre-back Carter-Vickers enjoyed another decent tussle with Jordan White and was never in any danger of losing that particular battle. He produced a vital block from Regan Charles-Cook early in the second period and generally showed exactly why Celtic have ramped up their intentions to secure his services on a permanent deal. 8

Carl Starfelt: The Swede was sent off the last time the two sides met in Dingwall but he refused to get involved with White this time around. He was even confident enough to stroll forward and set up attacks by venturing deep into Ross County territory. 7

Greg Taylor: The full-back opened his account for the season against Rangers at Hampden last weekend and, like Ralston, he was keen to offer support to the midfield and attackers by marauding forward at will. He also performed his defensive duties diligently all afternoon. 7

Callum McGregor: The skipper was the victim of a crude Callachan early challenge that went unpunished but it was his sumptuous pass out wide that opened up the space for Jota to cross for Kyogo's opener. McGregor just oozes positivity and is the real driving force and beating heart of Ange Postecoglou's Celtic team. 8

Reo Hatate: The midfielder started the match despite his midweek comments that he was feeling physically and mentally fatigued and he cracked an effort over the top inside 10 minutes. He flitted in and out of the contest but his link-up play was decent enough. 6

Matt O'Riley: The Danish midfielder came in for Tom Rogic and showed some neat touches and flashes of skill. He hammered in a first-half effort that Laidlaw spilt at the feet of Kyogo, who spurned the rebound chance when he should have scored. He also had a second-half header cleared off the line before going off. 6

Jota: The Portuguese winger's delivery was bang on the money for Kyogo's header. He switched wings throughout the contest and was a real thorn in the Ross County flesh during the afternoon. He stabbed home the vital second on 87 minutes as he enjoyed a fine return to form - when Jota is in this kind of mood he looks every inch a bargain at £6.5 million. 8

Daizen Maeda: Maeda teamed up well with the returning Kyogo as well as compatriot Hatate. He showed superb movement to shake off his marker and steer another wonderful Jota cross goalwards in his biggest chance of the day but County keeper Ross Laidlaw saved well from his volley. 7

Kyogo Furuhashi: The Japanese talisman made it 17 goals for the campaign when he headed into the net to make it 1-0 after just 12 minutes. He also struck the crossbar with a volley on 28 minutes and forced Laidlaw into a reaction save six minutes before the break when he missed a sitter. The striker looked lively and back to his old self, with his quickness of thought and movement giving the County rearguard a torrid time before he made way for Giakoumakis on 64 minutes. 8

Substitutes

Tom Rogic: The Aussie came on for Maeda as part of a triple substitution for the visitors on 64 minutes and tried to give Celtic some fresh attacking impetus. 4

Liel Abada: The Israeli was given a 26-minute run-out in place of Kyogo as Celtic searched for a killer second goal. He dragged a tremendous opportunity to seal the points wide of the target when it looked easier to score. 4

Giorgos Giakoumakis: Coming on to replace O'Riley after 64 minutes after missing last weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final loss to Rangers was a welcome sight. It was his initial shot that came back off the crossbar that Jota stabbed home. 4

David Turnbull: Replaced Hatate after 74 minutes and it is good to see him fit and back out on the pitch although he did not have his shooting boots on.

James Forrest: Given the closing minutes in place of Jota.

Subs not used: Scott Bain, Liam Scales, James McCarthy, Stephen Welsh
