Celtic visit Ibrox on Sunday knowing a win will leave their rivals floored and Ange Postecoglou's men with one hand on the Premiership trophy.

With six games remaining after the derby, Celtic know that creating a six-point gap would be insurmountable for Giovanni van Bronckhort's side. This is especially the case given the Hoops' vastly superior goal difference.

Another performance at the level of what was provided at Parkhead in February in the memorable 3-0 win will surely see the points, and the title, return to Paradise.

We've collated some of the best Celtic pundit's opinions ahead of the game.

John Hartson to Go Radio

"It's their title to lose, absolutely.

"If Celtic win then the club's in a fantastic place to go and attack the last six games.

"Rangers can't afford to be six points behind, potentially seven with the goal difference with seven games to go.

"Celtic have got one hand on the title if they win on Sunday."

Scott McDonald to Sky Sports

"It's neck and neck, we haven't seen this for many a year.

"The psychological games begin very very early on in the week.

"I think some of the players will be quite pleased that they're away on international duty to get away from all the hype."

"It's gonna be really interesting to see how both teams, particularly Rangers, set up.

"I think Ange learned a lot from his first game in charge at Ibrox. He didn't quite go with the normal tactics he was showing with his full-backs inverting.

"They certainly did that in the second game at Celtic Park and they caused Rangers a lot of problems. "

Aiden McGeady to the Daily Record

“When Kyogo Furuhashi got injured it was a big question of who would start up front.

“Giakoumakis was a relative unknown who had been playing in fits and starts. But the last six or seven games he has been playing well and hitting the back of the net.

“He gives the team a different dimension. Kyogo likes to run in behind, is very sharp and has great movement. Giakoumakis is more a target man but his goal record speaks for itself.

“He will definitely give the Rangers defence something to think about.

“I think it will be a tight affair on Sunday. Celtic have a strong defensive record this season. I don’t think they will be quite as expansive as they have been.

“I’ll say 2-1 Celtic.”

“Last season I thought Rangers (were the better side).

“This season I was unsure because Postecoglou was relatively unknown outwith the UK. He brought the Japanese players in and not a lot was known about them.

“But the way they have integrated into the squad and the way he wants them to play - they have done it very quickly - so I probably lean towards Celtic.

“I like the way they play football. I like the manager’s integrity, humility and what he stands for.

“Since then they’ve kept pace with each other. But this game on Sunday is a must-not lose for Rangers. If Celtic win at Ibrox - which hasn’t happened for a while - then it would be a mountain to climb for Rangers.”

Martin O’Neill to Radio Clyde

“If Celtic come out of the match unscathed then you would have to say they’re really in pole position.

“Of course if Celtic go and win the game and I’m sure that’s probably in Postecoglou’s mind – thinking ‘I’m not going to change for anything, I’m going to go to Ibrox and attack’ – then you would have to think their position is very strong indeed.

“The pressure at this minute is very much on Rangers to get the result, it’s a home fixture for them and a big, big match for them.

“They’re three points behind and they’re unlikely - not impossible - to claw back that goal difference in the number of matches left.

“You could think at this stage that looks like a four point differential so really Rangers must win that game.

“I know they’ve got Celtic again at Celtic Park but really they’ve got to win this game.”

Alan Thompson to Sky Sports

"I'm going to say 1-0 Celtic.

"Aaron Ramsey will be a big player on Sunday, he's played in big games for Arsenal, Juventus and Wales.

"It will be no shock to his system, he'll be looking forward to it. Celtic will certainly have to keep an eye on him, Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos is a good player.

"Celtic will have to be switched on defensively.

"I'm going to be biased and say Celtic (have a better squad), but there's no doubt Rangers have got quality players throughout the team.

"It's going to be an intriguing game, one that I am looking forward to and I hope Celtic come out on top."
