Celtic are aiming to make it 26 games unbeaten in all competition when they face Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt in the last 32 of the Europa Conference League.

Ange Postecoglou's side comfortably saw off Raith Rovers 4-0 in the Scottish Cup last weekend after the Aussie had made no fewer than seven changes to his starting line-up.

Kjetil Knutsen's men come to Glasgow's East End promising to attack but the Norwegians are in the midst of their pre-season since the Eliteserien ended back in December.

Here, Tony Haggerty looks at three key issues that Ange Postecoglou may ponder ahead of the Europa Conference play-off round first leg match-up at Celtic Park.

Attack v Attack

Ange Postecoglou's team like to attack so too does Bodo/Glimt boss Kjetil Knutsen.
How will Celtic cope with a team who may be prepared to go toe-to-toe with them in terms of style?

Celtic can ill-afford to under-estimate the Norwegian champions who stunned European football when they thrashed Italians AS Roma 6-1 at their 5,635 capacity Aspmyra Stadium in a Group C match back in October before holding the Serie A side 2-2 in the Olympic Stadium in Rome the following month.

The Norwegians look very different and are a changed team having sold four of their best players since then.

Ange will certainly be keen to see Celtic take the game to Bodo/Glimt right from the start to see if they can cope with the high intensity, high-octane, high tempo game that usually gets the home crowd on the edge of their seats.

The stage is set for what could turn out to be an absolute cracker.

Who will partner Cameron Carter-Vickers in central defence?

Celtic welcomed back £7 million Frenchman Christopher Jullien in the 4-0 fifth-round Scottish Cup victory over Raith Rovers last weekend.

It's too much of a stretch to think that Jullien will win a place in the side for such a crucial European clash having played nothing more than a cameo against a Championship team.

Swedish defender Carl Starfelt is still in pole position to partner USA internationalist Cameron Carter-Vickers at the back of the pack.

The duo has been dove-tailing nicely in recent weeks and is showing signs of developing a real connection and a greater understanding of each other's game. They have formed part of the meanest defence in the Scottish Premiership this season after all with just 15 goals conceded from 26 outings this season.

Whilst Stephen Welsh also got a run-out in the win over the men from Kirkcaldy but he did little to convince Ange that he is a definite starter in a game of this magnitude.

Will this be a real gauge and measure of Celtic's progress under Ange if they can advance to the last 16?

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has already admitted that he is looking to go deep into the Europa Conference League and wants to test himself against the best on the European stage.

Whilst the Celtic supporters crave the Premiership title and the £40 million automatic group stage Champions League jackpot that comes with it, there is still a huge emphasis being placed on doing well in this competition by the Aussie.

There is a certain amount of prestige that would come with being the winners of the inaugural Europa Conference League.

A win over two legs would be a huge step and a massive measure of the progress and strides the club has taken in the eight short months that he has been at the helm.

The Celtic supporters are daring to dream of success on the European stage once again.
They also have an Aussie manager who is inclined to think along the same lines and wants to win every competition he enters.

Lest we forget the final of the tournament is being played in the Albanian capital Tirana on May 25th.
