Ryan McGinlay Joined Hamish Carton on today's edition of The Celtic Way's morning briefing for Friday, February 2.

On today's show, the duo spoke about the transfer window, after it slammed shut last night at 11.30 pm. They discussed Adam Idah's arrival to the club from Norwich, as well as some of the notable departures from the club in the process, such as David Turnbull and Mikey Johnston. Turnbull left the club permanently to join Cardiff City, whilst Johnston left on loan to join West Bromwich Albion in the same league. Gustaf Lagerbielke, Benjamin Siegrist and James McCarthy all remained with the club, despite being touted for moves away.

Also on the show, they touched upon Reo Hatate's latest injury worry, as the player looks to have injured his calf whilst playing for Japan in the Asia Cup. Time will tell if it is a strain or a full-on tear, which would rule him out for months rather than weeks. A vital cog in the midfield for Celtic, Hatate's injury troubles have been a consistent issue for the club this campaign.

Finally, Hamish and Ryan previewed both the press conferences happening later on today, as well as the game at Pittodrie tomorrow lunchtime. Will Celtic keep their recent run of wins going? Will Brendan Rodgers be 'box office' at Lennoxtown today with the media? Can Idah make an instant impact at the club? We will find out very shortly.
