Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has been listed as the shock frontrunner to replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager.

Klopp, 56, announced his intention to leave Anfield at the end of the season in a bombshell statement on Friday morning.

The German coach - appointed as Liverpool boss in 2015 - counts six major trophies in his honours at the club including the Premier League title and Champions League trophy.

However, he will depart the club at the end of the season leaving Liverpool with a recruitment search.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers features at 6/1 for a second stint at Liverpool with former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard - a legend at Anfield - priced at 8/1 alongside Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
